We hope you can join Dr. Clifford Kiracofe (BA, MA, PhD, UVa), on Wednesday, October 22nd  from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Greencroft Club for a discussion on the Israel lobby and his book, Dark Crusade: The Israel Lobby and Christian Zionism, published by Commonwealth House Publishing. Charlie Kirk’s evolving position on the Israeli influence on the U.S. government has been a hot topic of debate on social media making this a timely conversation. Kiracofe will provide the context for the pressure Kirk was under from Turning Point’s Zionist donors on the Israel question. In addition, he will discuss what is Christian Zionism, where did it originate, how did it become such a common eschatological view in the American evangelical church and how is the movement affecting U.S. foreign policy. Following the discussion will be a book signing. Dr. Kiracofe will be joined by Bishop Peter Robinson of Good Shepherd Anglican Church who will provide an overview of the eschatological positions of the Church over the last 2,000 years and of the early Church fathers.
